Mets' Drew Gagnon: Sent to minors

Gagnon was optioned to Triple-A Syracuse on Tuesday.

Gagnon allowed eight runs in his last three innings of work, bringing his ERA up to 7.65 on the season. Daniel Zamora and Stephen Nogosek were added to the bullpen to replace Gagnon and Jeurys Familia (shoulder), who landed on the injured list.
