Angels' James Hoyt: Returns to majors

Hoyt was recalled from Triple-A Salt Lake on Sunday.

Hoyt was sent to Triple-A at the start of August and will rejoin the big-league club Sunday. The right-hander has appeared in seven games for the Angels this season and given up four runs on six hits with eight strikeouts and six walks over 6.2 innings.
