Ward went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in Tuesday's loss to the Rangers.

Ward got the Angels offense going in the contest, launching a 419-foot solo shot to center field in the third inning. The long ball was his fourth in 14 contests this month and extended his on-base streak to 25 games. Ward has been among baseball's most pleasant surprises this season, slashing .376/.484/.733 with nine homers, 23 RBI, 26 runs and a stolen base across 122 plate appearances.
