McCormick (hamstring) is not in Saturday's lineup against the Rangers but he hopes to return Sunday, Chandler Rome of The Athletic reports.
McCormick missed the first game of the series Friday with a sore right hamstring. He did full-speed running before Saturday's game and told reporters that he felt great, so it sounds like he'll avoid an IL stint.
