Astros' J.J. Matijevic: Optioned to Triple-A

Matijevic was optioned to Triple-A Sugar Land on Tuesday, Chandler Rome of the Houston Chronicle reports.

With Aledmys Diaz (groin) getting activated, Matijevic was squeezed off the active roster. He hit .250 with zero home runs and six strikeouts in 12 at-bats during this latest cup of coffee with the big club.
