Astros' Jairo Solis: Reassigned to minors camp

Solis (elbow) was reassigned Tuesday to the minor-league side of Astros camp, Chandler Rome of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Jaime Melendez and Misael Tamarez also get sent out in this first round of cuts for Houston. Solis, 23, hasn't pitched at any level since all the way back in 2018 due to a pair of Tommy John reconstructive elbow procedures.
