Athletics' Luis Barrera: Back with team

Barrera (visa issues) has joined the Athletics for spring training, Martin Gallegos of MLB.com reports.

Barrera's arrival to camp was delayed due to visa issues while coming from the Dominican Republic, but he's now with the team and will start prepping for the season. The 26-year-old made his major-league debut with six games for Oakland last season, but he spent most of the year at Triple-A Las Vegas and hit .276/.348/.393 with four home runs, 53 runs, 37 RBI and 10 stolen bases in 96 contests.
