Athletics' Tyler Wade: Selected from Triple-A

The Athletics selected Wade's contract from Triple-A Las Vegas on Tuesday.

Wade was sent outright to Las Vegas in mid-July, but he'll return to Oakland after slashing .297/.366/.405 over 10 games since his demotion. He'll take the place of Manny Pina, who was designated for assignment in a corresponding move.
