Braves' Nick Markakis: Sits against southpaw

Markakis will be on the bench against lefty David Peterson and the Mets on Saturday.

Markakis has started against a lefty just once all season. Tyler Flowers enters the lineup in his absence and will start at catcher, pushing Travis d'Arnaud to designated hitter, Marcell Ozuna to left field and Adam Duvall to right.
