Brock Stassi: Released Friday

Stassi was let go by the Twins on Friday, Brandon Warne of ZoneCoverage.com reports.

Stassi will attempt to catch on elsewhere after slashing a dismal .211/.316/.316 with two home runs and 13 RBI over 32 games at Triple-A Rochester. The Red Wings have added Chris Carter to the roster in a corresponding move.
