Cardinals' Jake Walsh: Sent to Triple-A Memphis

Walsh was optioned Saturday to Triple-A Memphis by the Cardinals, Jeff Jones of the Belleville News-Democrat reports.

Walsh made only three appearances for the Cardinals last year while allowing four runs in 2.2 innings of work for a 13.50 ERA. He'll likely be an up-and-down arm for St. Louis, providing more organizational depth than any chance for fantasy significance in 2023.
