Cardinals' Tyler O'Neill: Shifted to 60-day IL

The Cardinals transferred O'Neill (back) to the 60-day injured list Friday, Jeff Jones of the Belleville News-Democrat reports.

O'Neill landed on the injured list May 5, so his move to the 60-day IL will keep him out until at least July 4. His 40-man roster spot will be filled by Richie Palacios, who was acquired from Cleveland in a trade Friday.
