Chris Stratton: Released by Royals

The Royals released Stratton on Thursday.

Stratton passed through waivers unclaimed after being booted off the Royals' 40-man roster and he is now free to sign with another organization. The veteran reliever will likely have to settle for a minor-league contract after allowing 15 earned runs across 17 innings in 2025.
