Cubs' Jason Heyward: Healthy scratch Wednesday

Heyward was a healthy scratch from Wednesday's lineup against the Tigers, Jesse Rogers of ESPN.com reports.

The 31-year-old was slated to start in right field and bat sixth Wednesday, but he won't start with the late change to the lineup. According to Sahadev Sharma of The Athletic, Heyward decided not to play after having a conversation with manager David Ross.
