Suzuki went 0-for-2 with two strikeouts in Friday's Cactus League game against the Rockies.
Suzuki struggled in his spring training debut, and afterward, he went to the batting cage for some extra work after what he called his "unfortunate" at-bats, according to Meghan Montemurro of the Chicago Tribune. The Japanese outfielder may need an adjustment period to get used to MLB pitching, but he should be able to get the bat going eventually after slashing .317/.433/.636 in Nippon Professional Baseball last season.
