Heyward isn't in the Dodgers' lineup Thursday against the Rockies.
Southpaw Ty Blach will start on the mound for the Rockies, so the lefty-hitting Heyward will retreat to the bench to begin Thursday's game. Mookie Betts will shift to right field in Heyward's absence, allowing Amed Rosario to start at second base and bat third.
