Picked up your two-start pitchers for Fantasy Week 12 (June 20-26) yet? Well, happy hunting to you.
I'm guessing you won't like what you find, though.
It's not that the two-start stable is lacking in talent, but most of that talent is so high-end that it's already owned. I'd say the first 12 on this list of 40 (a small number to begin with) are absolute no-brainers, and Aaron Nola would be if he hadn't struggled the last couple times out. James Paxton and Josh Tomlin might be available in shallower leagues, and Drew Smyly, while risky, is worth a roll of the dice coming off a dominant start.
But after those 16, only three of which aren't universally owned, who can I honestly recommend? Maybe Doug Fister if you can use him in an RP slot. Maybe Jeremy Hellickson just because his changeup is such a good swing-and-miss pitch. I don't exactly feel good about him either, though.
And by the time you get to No. 25, you're out of pitchers with any redeeming quality. Patrick Corbin is an exception, maybe, but his matchups are a killer.
Anyway, here's how I rank them:
