The Marlins selected Davis from Triple-A Jacksonville on Tuesday, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.

A day after being traded from Detroit to Miami in exchange for Brady Allen, Davis will make his 2023 big-league debut. The 31-year-old outfielder is slashing .258/.336/.516 through 140 plate appearances in Triple-A this season and could see regular playing time while Avisail Garcia (back), Jesus Sanchez (hamstring) and Jazz Chisholm (toe) are all injured.
