Mets' Franklyn Kilome: Sent to secondary site

Kilome was optioned to the Mets' alternate training site Saturday, Tim Healey of Newsday reports.

Kilome returned from a fingernail injury Friday and made an awful appearance on his lone day on the roster, giving up six runs against the Braves while recording just four outs. He now owns an 11.12 ERA and 2.03 WHIP in his 11.1-inning debut season. Corey Oswalt (biceps) returned from the injured list in a corresponding move.
