Mets' Roel Ramirez: Designated for assignment

Ramirez was designated for assignment by the Mets on Tuesday, Tim Britton of The Athletic reports.

Ramirez appeared in just one game for Triple-A Syracuse after being claimed off waivers by the Mets on July 21, allowing two runs in one inning July 25. He'll once again be placed on waivers, though it's very possible he'll go unclaimed, given his lack of success at any level this season.
