Michael Perez: Released by Seattle

The Mariners released Perez on Tuesday.

Fellow catcher Seby Zavala accepted an outright assignment to Triple-A Tacoma, and in order to clear a roster spot, Perez was cut loose. Perez should be able to latch on in another organization that's seeking catching depth.
