Nationals' Jake Noll: Optioned to Triple-A

Noll was optioned to Triple-A Rochester on Sunday, Jesse Dougherty of The Washington Post reports.

The 27-year-old was 0-for-8 with two walks and four strikeouts through eight spring games and was unable to earn a spot on the Opening Day roster. Noll appeared in seven games for the Nationals last season and went 6-for-17 with one double and two runs scored.
