Nationals' Kyle McGowin: Out with UCL sprain

McGowin was placed on the 10-day injured list Friday with a UCL sprain in his right elbow, Maria Torres of The Athletic reports.

This is an injury commonly associated with Tommy John surgery, so McGowin's season is likely over and it's possible he will be sidelined for a significant amount of time.
