Santander went 1-for-4 with a two-run homer in Thursday's 7-4 victory over Detroit.
Though Santander hit a two-run home run off Chasen Shreve in the seventh, he struck out in each of his other three at-bats. In his last 21 games, Santander has recorded multiple hits just once, while Thursday's homer was just his second on the year. After swatting 33 long shots last season and slashing .240/.318/.455, Santander is off to a slow start to 2023 despite Baltimore's 17-8 record.
