Pirates' Erik Kratz: Comes through with big knock Sunday

Kratz broke a 3-3 tie Sunday with an infield single against the A's.

He's batting .085 (6-for-71) in 2016, split between Houston and Pittsburgh. Kratz, who started both Saturday and Sunday, could see additional playing time leading up to the All-Star break if Chris Stewart needs more rest or goes on the DL. The Pirates claimed catcher Eric Fryer off waivers Sunday to serve on their major league roster.
