Rangers' Eli White: Lands on IL

White was placed on the 10-day injured list Thursday with a right elbow strain.

The outfielder was scratched from Wednesday's lineup and is now set for a more extended absence. White has been in a brutal stretch offensively, going hitless in his last three games and 3-for-30 in his last 10. It's unclear how long he'll be sidelined with the elbow injury. Yonny Hernandez was selected from Triple-A Round Rock in a corresponding move Thursday.
