Carter had X-rays on his left forearm come back negative Sunday, Kennedi Landry of MLB.com reports.
The 21-year-old exited Sunday's exhibition against the Giants after being hit by a pitch, and the negative test result is an encouraging development. Carter should be able to rejoin the Rangers' Cactus League lineup within the next few days.
