The Rays optioned Goodrum to Triple-A Durham on Friday, Tricia Whitaker of Bally Sports Sun reports.
Goodrum was called up by Tampa Bay on April 12, but he appeared in just nine games and went 3-for-16 with a walk and six strikeouts. The 32-year-old could rejoin the Rays later in the campaign if the club requires infield depth.
