Rays' Raimel Tapia: Lands on waiver wire

The Rays placed Tapia on outright waivers Saturday, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Tapia bounced around three different organizations last season, slashing .236/.317/.338 over 168 major-league plate appearances. The 29-year-old outfielder's production has fallen since leaving Colorado in 2022, but he may still be able to function as a reserve outfielder next year.
