Red Sox's Bryce Brentz: Scratched from Monday's lineup

Brentz was scratched from the lineup for Monday's game against the Mets, Chris Cotillo of MassLive.com reports.

The reason for Brentz's scratch is not yet clear. Tate Matheny will take his place in the lineup, batting sixth and playing left field.
