Reds' Brandon Bailey: Non-tendered, re-signs with Reds

Bailey (elbow) was non-tendered by the Reds on Tuesday, but he re-signed with the team on a minor-league deal that includes an invitation to spring training, C. Trent Rosecrans of The Athletic reports.

Bailey missed the 2021 campaign while recovering from Tommy John surgery in February, and he'll enter spring training as a non-roster invitee. It's unclear where the right-hander currently stands in his recovery, but he may not be fully ramped up for Opening Day.
