Fraley is not in the starting lineup Friday against the Cubs.

Fraley will take a seat as the Reds face off with left-hander Justin Steele. Nick Senzel will replace him in left field while Kevin Newman enters the lineup at third base and bats seventh in the series opener with Chicago.
