Riddle accepted an outright assignment to Triple-A Louisville on Thursday, C. Trent Rosecrans of The Athletic reports.
Riddle was designated for assignment Tuesday after spending a week on the active roster. As a 30-year-old with a career .223/.261/.354 slash line, it's no surprise to see him go unclaimed on waivers. He'll remain as organizational depth for now.
