Tigers' Jim Adduci: Heads to free agency

Adduci elected free agency Thursday.

Adduci was dropped from the Tigers' 40-man roster Wednesday and will hit the free-agent market this winter after spending the past two season in Detroit's organization. Across 59 games in 2018, he hit .267 with a .676 OPS and 21 RBI.
