Tigers' Matthew Boyd: Exits with left elbow discomfort

Boyd was removed from Monday's game against the Rangers due to left elbow discomfort, Chris McCosky of The Detroit News reports.

Boyd is likely headed for further evaluation to determine whether he'll miss any time. He gave up one earned run and only recorded two outs -- both via strikeout -- before getting pulled with the injury.
