Tigers' Ricardo Pinto: Loses out on roster bid

The Tigers reassigned Pinto to minor-league camp Monday.

With an 8.44 ERA across 27 career MLB appearances -- and none coming since 2019 -- Pinto didn't have a real chance to win a spot in the Tigers' Opening Day bullpen. He'll likely head to Triple-A Toledo to begin the 2022 season.
