Ross announced his retirement from professional baseball Sunday, Jason Beck of MLB.com reports.

Ross signed a minor-league deal with the Tigers in January, and he'll hang up his cleats after posting a 7.03 ERA over 32 innings at Triple-A Toledo. The 32-year-old last appeared in the majors in 2017 and posted a 3.92 ERA and 1.39 WHIP in 266 career games with the Red Sox and Rangers.
