Twins' Addison Reed: Rehab appearance scheduled

Reed (thumb) will make a rehab appearance for Triple-A Rochester on Tuesday, Betsy Helfand of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.

Reed has been out all season with a thumb sprain. Given the length of his absence, he's likely to require a handful of rehab appearances before being activated from the injured list.
