Twins' Chris Heston: Cast off 40-man roster

Heston was designated for assignment Friday.

Heston was originally thought to be an option to make a spot start in Saturday's doubleheader with the Indians, but after being bypassed for the start by Adam Wilk, Heston will end up being the roster casualty to allow Wilk to make said start. Heston has plenty of MLB experience to his name, which could make him an attractive option to other teams while he's exposed to waivers.
