Webb elected free agency Friday, Jeff Jones of the Belleville News-Democrat reports.
The 31-year-old lefty tosses 16.1 innings for the Cardinals this season but struggled significantly, giving up 24 runs while posting a 14:19 K:BB. Prior to this season, however, he owned 3.69 ERA in 105 innings at the highest level, so he could still generate a bit of interest over the winter.
