White Sox's Tyler Ladendorf: Joins White Sox on minor league deal

Ladendorf agreed to a minor league deal with the White Sox on Tuesday, Chris Cotillo of MLB Daily Dish reports.

Ladendorf spent the 2016 season with the Athletics, but didn't contribute much at Triple-A Nashville or with the big club. Over 44 games with Oakland, he went just 4-for-48 (.083) and struck out 13 times. At 29 years old, he'll likely serve as organizational depth for the White Sox during the 2017 campaign.
