James Outman CF | DET
Tigers' James Outman: Goes deep again Tuesday
Outman went 1-for-3 with a walk and a three-run home run in Tuesday's 9-3 win over the Yankees.
Outman hit one of five Detroit home runs on the night, and it continued a decent power display with his new team. The outfielder had no long balls and a lowly .479 OPS across 49 games with the Twins earlier in the season. Since joining the Tigers in mid-June, Outman has gone deep three times and posted a.779 OPS in 15 contests. The 29-year-old is still hard to fully trust in fantasy, but at least his bat is showing some signs of life.

Kerry Carpenter RF | DET
Tigers' Kerry Carpenter: Connects for 13th home run
Carpenter went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in Tuesday's 9-3 win over the Yankees.
Carpenter took tough New York righty Cam Schlittler deep in the first inning. The outfielder didn't do much after that, though it was enough to extend his hitting streak to five games, and he's gone deep three times during the hot stretch. Overall, Carpenter has 13 home runs, 36 RBI and an .810 OPS across 63 contests this season, with almost all of his damage coming against righties.

Riley Greene LF | DET
Tigers' Riley Greene: Blasts off twice in win
Greene went 2-for-4 with two home runs and three RBI in Tuesday's 9-3 win over the Yankees.
Greene received the day off Monday, which was his first lineup absence since April 17, and he returned with a bang Tuesday. The talented outfielder delivered his first multi-homer game of the season, and he's now up to 11 long balls overall, with seven of them coming in 25 games this month. Greene is also now sporting a .288 batting average and .828 OPS, both of which would be career bests.

Luke Raley RF | SEA
Mariners' Luke Raley: Remaining on bench Tuesday
Raley (forearm) is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Angels.
Raley will stay on the bench for a third straight game while he continues to deal with soreness in his non-throwing forearm. Weston Wilson will pick up the start in right field in Raley's stead.

Joey Loperfido LF | HOU
Astros' Joey Loperfido: On bench Tuesday
Loperfido is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Twins.
Loperfido will head to the bench Tuesday after he had started in each of the Astros' last five matchups versus right-handed pitchers. With Loperfido taking a seat, Houston will go with Isaac Paredes at designated hitter and Yordan Alvarez, Taylor Trammell and Cam Smith as its outfield trio.

Lawrence Butler RF | ATH
Athletics' Lawrence Butler: Resting vs lefty
Butler is not in the lineup Tuesday versus the Dodgers.
Butler will begin Tuesday's game on the bench with the Dodgers sending left-hander Justin Wrobleski to the mound. Butler started in Monday's 9-4 loss to the Dodgers despite Los Angeles starting lefty Eric Lauer and went 0-for-3 with a walk. For Tuesday, Joey Meneses is starting in left field and Colby Thomas is starting in right field.
-
Byron Buxton CF | MIN
Twins' Byron Buxton: Sitting again Tuesday
Buxton (hip) is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Astros, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.
It's the second straight absence from the lineup for Buxton, who is considered day-to-day after an MRI revealed a right hip impingement. The center fielder appears to have avoided a serious injury, though it wouldn't be surprising if the Twins also hold him out for Wednesday's series finale in Houston since the club has a team day off Thursday.

LaMonte Wade Jr. LF | HOU
Astros' LaMonte Wade: Kicking off rehab assignment
Wade (hamstring) will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Sugar Land on Tuesday, Matt Kawahara of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Wade is ready for game action after missing the past three weeks due to a right hamstring strain. He shouldn't need an extended rehab assignment before rejoining the Astros' active roster, perhaps as soon as Friday's series opener against the Rays.

Jac Caglianone RF | KC
Royals' Jac Caglianone: Returning to Kansas City lineup
Caglianone (groin) will start at designated hitter and bat third in Tuesday's game versus the Rays.
Caglianone had to be scratched from Sunday's lineup due to left groin soreness, but he's feeling well enough to give it a go in Tuesday's series opener following the Royals' team off day Monday. The 23-year-old enters play Tuesday having gone just 1-for-15 with eight strikeouts over his last four contests.
