Pete Crow-Armstrong CF | CHC
Cubs' Pete Crow-Armstrong: Goes deep, swipes base in rout
Crow-Armstrong went 2-for-4 with a walk, a home run, an additional run scored and three total RBI in Sunday's 19-2 win over the Mariners. He also stole a base.
Crow-Armstrong led the offensive attack for the Cubs on a day when they recorded 17 hits and went deep four times. The star outfielder did his part with his 33rd home run of the season in the eighth inning, and he also tallied his 32nd stolen base. Crow-Armstrong has already become the first Chicago player to post consecutive 30-30 campaigns, and he could register his first career 40-40 campaign with a hot finish to the year.

Ian Happ LF | CHC
Cubs' Ian Happ: Smacks another home run Sunday
Happ went 2-for-4 with a walk, a home run, an additional run scored and five total RBI in Sunday's 19-2 win over the Mariners.
Happ had a massive performance as the Cubs rolled to an easy victory. The veteran outfielder got a rest day Saturday, but he went deep in both of his starts over the weekend against Seattle, and he's now up to 22 home runs in 127 games this season. Happ's career high in homers is 25, which he recorded on two different occasions, and he's closing in on that mark in 2026.

Michael Conforto DH | CHC
Cubs' Michael Conforto: Homers in rout Sunday
Conforto went 1-for-2 with a solo home run in Sunday's 19-2 win over the Mariners.
Conforto was one of four Chicago players to go deep in the comfortable win. The veteran outfielder now has 11 home runs across 87 games this season to go along with 31 RBI and a .760 OPS. Conforto remains a threat when deployed against right-handed pitching, but his current role is too inconsistent to drive much fantasy value, except for in daily formats whenever he's in the lineup in a favorable matchup.

Jackson Merrill CF | SD
Padres' Jackson Merrill: Clubs homer in win
Merrill went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in Sunday's 8-1 win over the Twins.
Merrill has gone deep in consecutive games and is up to 21 homers on the year. He's also avoided striking out over his last two games after racking up 20 strikeouts in a 15-game span from Aug. 5-21. The outfielder is now batting .240 with a .707 OPS, 66 RBI, 67 runs scored, 20 doubles, two triples and 24 stolen bases across 128 contests this season.

Fernando Tatis Jr. RF | SD
Padres' Fernando Tatis: Leads with two homers, four hits
Tatis went 4-for-5 with a pair of home runs and four total RBI in Sunday's 8-1 win over the Twins.
Tatis' power drought was a major story earlier in the campaign, but he's been making up for lost time with nine homers over his last 17 games. This was his second multi-homer effort in his last five contests as well. Tatis is batting .290 with an .814 OPS, 17 long balls, 67 RBI, 75 runs scored, 27 doubles, two triples and 28 stolen bases over 129 contests last year. He had an .814 OPS in the 2025 regular season, so getting back up to that mark after his slow start is impressive as he leads the way in the Padres' playoff push.

Victor Bericoto LF | SF
Giants' Victor Bericoto: Exits early with knee issue
Bericoto exited Sunday's contest against the Red Sox in the sixth inning with a right knee injury, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
Bericoto suffered the injury while trying to track down a fly ball in foul territory, torquing his right knee after making contact with the wall. The outfielder went 1-for-2 with an RBI before his departure, and he's expected to undergo additional evaluation.

Ivan Johnson 2B | CIN
Reds' Ivan Johnson: Back with big club
The Reds recalled Johnson from Triple-A Louisville on Sunday.
Johnson will be up in the big leagues for the third time this season, restoring depth on the Reds' bench after Michael Toglia (shoulder) was placed on the 10-day injured list in a corresponding move. During his previous two stints with the Reds, Johnson logged just 14 total plate appearances over 12 games. He'll likely be in line for limited playing time this time around too.

Alek Thomas CF | LAD
Dodgers' Alek Thomas: Will see regular reps versus righties
Thomas will start in center field and bat eighth in Sunday's game against the Pirates.
After Thomas was recalled from Triple-A Oklahoma City on Saturday in response to Andy Pages (hand) landing on the injured list, manager Dave Roberts told Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic that the left-handed-hitting Thomas would play regularly in center field versus right-handed pitching. True to Roberts' word, Thomas finds himself in the lineup for a second straight matchup versus a righty, after he went 1-for-4 with an RBI in Saturday's 4-3 win in his Los Angeles debut.

Jake Mangum CF | PIT
Pirates' Jake Mangum: On bench Sunday
Mangum is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Dodgers.
Mangum will sit for the second time in four games while the Pirates go with a starting outfield of Nick Yorke, Billy Cook and Esmerlyn Valdez from left to right. Following Oneil Cruz's recent return from the injured list, Mangum could find himself more squeezed for playing time while the Pirates look to open up room in the lineup for Jared Triolo, who will draw a 10th consecutive start Sunday.

Tyler Freeman RF | COL
Rockies' Tyler Freeman: Optioned to Triple-A
The Rockies reinstated Freeman (back) from the 10-day injured list and optioned him to Triple-A Albuquerque on Sunday.
The 27-year-old completed his rehab assignment with Albuquerque but will remain at Triple-A rather than rejoining Colorado's active roster. Freeman was on the shelf nearly two weeks due to the back injury.
