Marchan signed a one-year, $860,000 contract with the Phillies on Friday.

Marchan posted just a .587 OPS across 118 plate appearances with the Phillies in 2025, but the team will opt to keep him around for another year. He will likely have to compete for a place on the big-league roster during spring training.

Adams signed a one-year contract with the Nationals on Friday.

Adams appeared in a career-high 83 games with the Nationals in 2025 but still wasn't very effective at the plate, slashing just .186/.252/.308 across 286 plate appearances. He'll officially remain in the organization to begin 2026 but will likely face competition for a spot on the big-league roster during spring training.

The Reds and Moll avoided arbitration by agreeing to a one-year, $875,000 contract, Jon Heyman of the New York Post reports.

He'll have a chance to earn an additional $150,000 in incentives. Moll split his time between the Reds and Triple-A Louisville in 2025, posting a 6.38 ERA and 22:10 K:BB over 18.1 frames with the big club. The lefty reliever does not have minor-league options remaining, so he would have to pass through waivers in order to be sent down.

The Mets and Taylor avoided arbitration by agreeing to a one-year, $3.8 million contract Friday, Mark Feinsand of MLB.com reports.

Taylor had been eligible for salary arbitration for a final time. The veteran outfielder has slashed only .235/.289/.361 in his two regular seasons with the Mets but has graded well defensively both years. Taylor currently looks to be at the top of the Mets' center-field depth chart, though the club is expected to pursue upgrades at the position this winter.

Atlanta and Suarez avoided arbitration by agreeing to a one-year contract Friday.

Suarez made seven appearances (one start) with Atlanta in 2025, finishing with a 1.86 ERA and 16:10 K:BB across 19.1 innings of work. The left-hander holds a career 5.30 ERA over parts of seven major-league seasons and does not have minor-league options remaining, so he could open the 2026 campaign as a long reliever.

The Diamondbacks re-signed McCann to a one-year, $2.75 million contract Friday, Nick Piecoro of The Arizona Republic reports.

He'll have the ability to earn an additional $500,000 in incentives. McCann signed with Arizona in late June this past season and went on to hit .260/.324/.431 with five home runs over 42 games. He will open the 2026 season as the backup catcher behind Gabriel Moreno.

The Giants acquired Wiemer from the Marlins on Friday in exchange for cash considerations, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

Wiemer had been designated for assignment by Miami earlier this week and is now on the move to a new organization. The 26-year-old hasn't seen extensive action in the majors since his rookie year in 2023, having bounced around to a few teams since then. Wiemer will compete for a spot on the Giants' roster and does not have minor-league options remaining.

The Giants designated Knizner for assignment Friday, Jon Heyman of the New York Post reports.

The Giants didn't want to pay Knizner a raise in arbitration, so he will become a free agent if he passes through waivers. Knizner, who turns 31 in February, slashed .221/.299/.299 over 33 contests with San Francisco in 2025.

The Phillies and Stubbs avoided arbitration by agreeing to a one-year, $925,000 contract, Matt Gelb of The Athletic reports.

It's a split contract that will pay Stubbs $575,000 if he's in the minors. The 32-year-old is out of minor-league options, so if he doesn't make the team, he'll have to be passed through waivers. Stubbs received just one plate appearance in the majors in 2025 and is a career .215/.293/.310 hitter over parts of seven big-league seasons.

The Phillies claimed Leon off waivers from the Orioles on Friday, Francys Romero of BeisbolFR.com reports.

Leon has now gone from the Astros to the Orioles to the Phillies via waivers this month. The 27-year-old was limited to only 25 minor-league games in 2025 due to a nagging knee issue, though he was healthy by the end of the season. Leon slashed .299/.372/.514 with 24 homers and 29 stolen bases at Triple-A Sugar Land in 2024 and has minor-league options remaining. The Phillies have openings in their outfield, but Leon will likely begin the 2026 season back in the minors.
