76ers' Kyle Lowry: Won't play Saturday

Lowry (rest) has been ruled out for Saturday's game against the Knicks, Adam Aaronson of PhillyVoice.com reports.

Lowry will sit out a second straight game during the preseason. His absence doesn't appear to be injury-related, but rather for rest purposes. The next opportunity for him to get back on the floor will be Oct. 10 against the Magic.
