Bargnani was waived by the Nets on Saturday, Mike Mazzeo of ESPN.com reports.
The Nets were trying to ship Bargnani out at the trade deadline, but found no suitors, so they'll now be forced to waive him instead. If he does indeed clear waivers, Bargnani will be a free agent and should be able to sign with any team. In 46 games this season with the Nets, he averaged 6.6 points, 2.1 rebounds and 0.4 assists over 14 minutes.
