Asante Gist: Will play for Westchester

Gist was selected in the third round of the 2021 G League Draft by the Westchester Knicks.

Gist spent the first two years of his college career with Eastern Kentucky before transferring to Iona for his junior campaign. He posted per-game averages of 13.1 points, 3.0 assists and 2.4 rebounds overall in 101 college contests. The 24-year-old played in the 2021 Las Vegas Summer League with the Washington Wizards' squad but totaled only 21 minutes of action.
