Daniel Theis: Waived by Oklahoma City

The Thunder waived Theis (thumb) on Thursday, Clemente Almanza of USA Today reports.

The Thunder just acquired Theis along with draft compensation on Wednesday in what was essentially a salary dump. The Thunder are comfortable with their current center rotation, however. Theis is likely to draw interest from contending teams as a free agent.
