Fantasy Basketball Week 20: Who's hot, a DFS target, and a category booster for Wednesday
Studs and duds from the Tuesday before highlighting a DFS target and category booster for Wednesday

Tuesday's main NBA slate included six games and more than half of them were close down the stretch. Jayson Tatum shined as one of the premier fantasy players on the night and his hot shooting powered the Celtics to their third win in four games on Tuesday. Karl-Anthony Towns, LeBron James, and Steph Curry were also among the cream of the crop. However, we'll spotlight a pair of non All-Stars who're trending in the right direction in today's recap before picking DFS and category booster targets for Wednesday.
Who's hot
Tatum was Tuesday's most productive fantasy option by a narrow margin. He tallied 33 points, eight rebounds, and seven assists against the Hawks. The Celtics wing has averaged 27.7 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 5.3 assists per game since his modest showing during All-Star weekend. Jaylen Brown is dealing with an ankle injury and Tatum could see his offensive involvement rise if his co-star misses some time.
Zubac was a dud in his first game back after All-Star weekend but bounced back with two consecutive double-doubles. The Clippers center notched 22 points and 12 rebounds against the Rockets on Tuesday after racking up 14 points, 15 rebounds, and a career-high six blocks the day before. Los Angeles's frontcourt has opened up without Serge Ibaka in the picture. Zubac has averaged 13 points and 9.8 rebounds per contest since the trade deadline.
It's still the Kuzma show in Washington, as Kristaps Porzingis has yet to make his Wizards debut. Kuz has thrived as his team's first option on offense and averaged 22.8 points, 10 rebounds, and 5.6 assists per game since the trade deadline. Porzingis is reportedly aiming to end a one-month layoff on Friday. The big man's health could impact Kuzma's boosted scoring and rebounding numbers.
DFS target
Ayton was a tremendous let-down the last time he was listed as our DFS target, but his Wednesday matchup against the Trail Blazers is too juicy to pass up. He followed up his abysmal six-point performance against the Thunder by posting at least 20 points, five rebounds, two blocks, and a steal in each of his next two contests. Portland's center rotation mainly consists of Trendon Watford and Drew Eubanks because of Jusuf Nurkic's foot injury. Ayton could be poised to have field day against a team he's averaging 18 points and eight rebounds against this season. He tallied 28 points and 13 rebounds the last time he faced Portland.
Category booster: Blocks
Jackson's rostership is hovering right at 50 percent in CBS leagues and could rise in the coming weeks. The Pacers big man has assumed a started role and swats shots at an elite level. Jackson has amassed 12 blocks in just five starts. He's strung together three straight multi-block games since the All-Star break. Jackson can score and rebound at a serviceable rate when he's not in foul trouble.
