The Celtics waived Ward on Thursday, Zack Cox of the Boston Herald reports.
Ward went undrafted in the 2024 NBA Draft before signing an Exhibit 10 contract with Boston. He will now likely spend the 2024-25 campaign with the Maine Celtics of the G League.
